Golden Mica
Golden Mica - The Gleaning
There are some things we only notice once we stop long enough to look back.
Golden Mica seems made for that kind of reflection.
Formed in fine, delicate layers, its surface catches the light in sudden flashes of gold - small moments of brilliance revealed only when the angle shifts.
It feels beautifully suited to harvest season.
Traditionally, gleaning was the gathering of what remained in the fields after the main harvest had been taken. The smaller things. The overlooked things. What might otherwise have been left behind.
By autumn, we reach the mid point of the year. We have moved through experiences, decisions, disappointments, tiny victories and moments of change - often without having the time to understand what they gave us.
Golden Mica has always felt like an invitation to look back with purpose.
To take stock.
To notice what we have learned.
What has quietly changed us.
What we might have dismissed at the time but can now recognise as something worth carrying forward.
Because not every harvest is obvious.
Some of it exists in perspective.
In wisdom.
In the small pieces of ourselves we gathered without even realising.
